About OGR Houses, LLC

OGR Houses, LLC is the brainchild of Otis Fields.  The idea first came to him in late 2006 when he was sipping champagne on New Years Eve with his friend and next door neighbor, Harold Compton.  Over the next several years the two of them discussed the idea and embarked on this journey in 2015.  

Otis Fields:  

Otis grew up in McKinney, Texas which he calls  North Texas. He attended Howard Payne Univ., in Brownwood, Texas and played football there, and still has strong ties to many in the area.This is something that he wanted to do for years. He is happy to say that we are now making it happen.

Thank you GOD!!Otis and his lovely wife, Gail have four great kids and nine beautiful grandchildren.

Harold Compton:  

Harold enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1971 and served for over 20 years, retiring in 1996 at the rank of Major. 

Following his retirement he began his second career as the IT Director at a private, all boys military school in Texas.  

In 2013 he decided that he had been away from Austin, where he owned a home, far too long.  He returned and began his third career in internet marketing.   He established an office for a Dallas based internet marketing company and was successful in that endeavor but still thinking about his talks with Otis and in 2015 was ready for what will hopefully be his last and most successful career.  

When Harold is not working on a house he is either working around his own house or out riding his Harley.  Harold is married to Cynthia, his lovely wife of 46 years and has two wonderful children.  Harold is not a Native Texan but got here as quickly as he could.
